Digney Fignus is a Boston based singer/songwriter well known for his MTV video hit "Girl With the Curious Hand" and song of the same name. Digney returned in 2006 with yet another refreshingly different chapter to his musical career "Trouble on the Levee" which enjoyed 22 weeks on the Americana Roots Rock chart.
Digney's song "Gumbo" was a finalist in the WUMB 2006 songwriting contest and "Fallin' for You" was used at a Touchstone Picture TV screening in 2007. "Griftin' River Blues" was used in a short documentary called "The House that Brian Built". In addition, Digney was recently a judge on "New England 's Community Audition/Star of the Day" television show.

His new CD, "Talk of the Town", continues the story of Johnnie Boudreaux, as he returns to New Orleans to try to rescue his son from the hangman's noose. The CD comes with a 16 page booklet, complete with lyrics, a 3500 word story, and illustrations by world renowned artist Frank Federico.
