Led by Texas-raised Acadian Nicolas Beaudoing, New York City's The Doc Marshalls have quickly forged a reputation as one of the hottest live acts in the big city. Combining an amalgam of musical styles, The Doc Marshalls first album, Honest For Once, is gaining speed at radio and press.

"Cajun Music Will Save Us All... a quote for me by lead singer Nick Beaudoing of The Doc Marshalls a few years back. After listening to their brand new album "Honest For Once" I'm a firm believer in this mantra.  Don't let the term Cajun music fool you though, these guys span alt.country / cajun / Americana and whatever else you want to throw in crawfish boil.  The Doc Marshalls are by far one of my favorite new bands of 2008."
